No Free Lunch: Ninja Cat Takes on Another Errand
In the seventh installment, our ninja cat needed the "Super Fire Arrow" to melt the snow blocking the hot springs entrance. Arriving at the pier where Fluffy runs a shop, we found a generous merchant who offered the arrow for free to prevent the hot springs from shutting down.
However, there was a catch.
Fluffy: "I need special materials."
Of course, nothing is truly free. To create the Super Fire Arrow, we need lava from Onigashima Island, which we visited in the third installment.
Such a powerful item must indeed require dangerous materials.
Returning to Onigashima Island, we found a bottle of lava conveniently placed in the middle of the path, as if someone knew we were coming. Ninja cat appreciated the gesture and carefully carried the lava back.
Lava temperatures can reach around 1000°C, yet the bottle showed no signs of melting or alteration, indicating it must be made of a special material.
Successfully delivering the lava, we received the Super Fire Arrow from Fluffy. Now, it's time to head back to the hot springs without any accidental explosions.
The Errand Journey Nears Its End: Fetching Fresh Water
The hot springs manager was astonished when we handed over the Super Fire Arrow. We finally gained access to the hot springs.
While the monkeys enjoyed the hot springs, our ninja cat had to fetch fresh water.
Remarkably, a bottle of fresh water was already prepared. With this, the construction in Tanooki City could progress swiftly.
Handing the fresh water to the workers, the construction was completed instantly. Their efficiency and dedication are truly admirable.
Now, we can finally access the bakery. However, our ninja cat deserves a rest after all this long-distance travel. We'll continue our journey in the next installment.
