【Under 500 Yen!】Sweating Buckets with a Store-Bought Bath Soak! A Soothing Scent and Milky Purple to Feel Like a Lady of Leisure

Make sure to drink a glass of water before your bath! And don’t forget to hydrate during and after your bath too!

With the intense heat and blasting air conditioning, it’s tough to sweat during a Japanese summer. In this second installment, I’m introducing another store-bought sweating bath soak that I tried to relieve some stress!

Last time, I wasn’t quite ready to sweat, so it was a bit of a flop. But how will it go this time?

[Bakkan-to Moon Aroma Scent]

This is a bath soak you often see in stores. It seemed perfect for my goal this time. Why? Because the name has "Bakkan" (explosive sweat) in it. I had high hopes.

A fun surprise when you add it to the water!

After taking some photos of the package, I tossed it in without reading it carefully.

Suddenly, there was a crackling sound, like water hitting hot oil—bzzz, bzzz, bzzz! That’s not a sound you usually want to hear from your bath.

When I took a closer look at the package...

There were words like "Crackling Carbonation" and "Sound Sugar." These must be what made that noise.

As the crackling dissolved, a refreshing scent filled the air.

This is a classic bath soak. A soothing, timeless scent.

I think there are few people who, when told "Moon Aroma," would immediately say, "Oh, that scent!"

But once you experience it, you'll understand—this is the scent of "Moon Aroma."

Combined with the milky purple color, it’s not too sweet and has a mature, elegant fragrance.

Following the directions precisely

Start with slightly hot water and soak for about 10 minutes, up to your chest.

Take a 5-minute break outside the bath.

Repeat 2-3 times.

So, after a break, I got back in for my second soak.

Sweat…!

It’s happening! Sweat is pouring from my face, and beads of sweat are forming on any skin exposed to the air. I’ve been waiting for this!

Then, after a 5-minute break...

As soon as I got back in, it was sweat, sweat, sweat... This is definitely worthy of the name Bakkan-to!

A luxurious 40-minute bath time

For me, someone who usually doesn’t (or can’t) take long baths, 40 minutes is a long time.

For a working mom with a mountain of things to do at work and at home, 40 minutes is a luxury (personal opinion).

But if it helps you feel refreshed, it’s time well spent!

10 minutes after the bath…

I’m still sweating!!! What am I supposed to do with this effect…!!!
